Juicy Couture Kids Goes Graphic for Spring!

Sunday 28 February 2010 @ 10:04 pm

You’ll find more than mini velour sweats at Juicy Couture for Kids. This season, they’ve brought their fun trendy touch —think eye-catching, Brit-cool prints like crowns and lion crests and girlie details like ruffles and bows — to everything from onesies and baby blankets to print dresses and tailored shorts.

For bigger girls, we love the cotton/modal Heart Plate dress ($88). With its gathered neckline, bubble skirt and whimsical pattern, it works well for school or a dinner out with mom and dad. The set of three bodysuits for boys ($68, above left) make an adorable baby shower gift, especially when paired with the super cuddly Lion blanket ($98).

Mini Must-Have: Francesca Bateman’s Sparkly Slippers

Sunday 28 February 2010 @ 4:03 pm
Belle Pictures/Ramey

She’s off to see the wizard!

Well, not quite, but Frannie was certainly wearing the right footwear to ‘follow the yellow brick road’ while hanging with dad, actor Jason Bateman, at The Lumberyard in Malibu on Feb. 20.

The adorable 3-year-old wore a cute grey and white checked tunic and grey leggings paired with super sparkly red ballet flats. And boy, do they pop!

After a quick search, we discovered her shoes are Circo’s Adelaide Glitter Ballet Shoes.

And at only $13, not only are these fab ruby slippers fit for a princess, they’re totally affordable!

CBB Review: Orbit Baby G2 Stroller

Sunday 28 February 2010 @ 3:56 am
Courtesy of Orbit Baby

Orbit Baby’s new G2 stroller ($750 – $900) is beautifully designed with loads of great details. Made with eco-friendly fabric and sturdily constructed, there’s so much about this clever stroller that’s worth raving about.

Click below for our review!

What we like:

The most noteworthy feature is the adjustable seat, which both tilts from an upright to a fully reclining position, and swivels so your child can ride facing forward, facing sideways or facing you.

The seat itself is essentially a car seat — it has a hard plastic interior and a five-point restraint — but the fabric covering is soft and cozy, especially when paired with the footmuff, an accessory also available from Orbit Baby.

We also love the fully extended canopy cover. It nearly covers the whole seat, making it perfect for naps. It keeps cold winds at bay during the winter and provides plenty of shade on sunny days.

Extremely maneuverable, the stroller — which comes in three versatile colorways (ruby/red, black/slate, mocha/khaki) — glides over curbs and uneven surfaces with ease and turns quickly and easily.

The frame is also solid, yet adaptable, especially the ergonomic handles which adjust easily to different heights. It also has no-pump tires so the wheels never deflate.

What we don’t like:

The wide wheel base makes it hard to get into tight spaces. And though it conveniently folds in half for storage, it still takes up a good deal of space.

Also, the under carriage cargo bag can be difficult to get to when your child is in the seat, although it’s detachable and sports a shoulder strap so you can use it as a diaper bag while you’re on-the-go.

CBB Rating:

This baby’s loaded with all the latest bells and whistles. Plus, it’s green. So if you’re in the market for a new set of wheels, we’d suggest putting it high on your list.

You Asked, We Found: Rebecca Gayheart’s Neutral Maxi-Dress!

Saturday 27 February 2010 @ 9:51 pm
Ramey, Courtesy of Target

Who says you have to spend big bucks to look stylish while pregnant?

On Valentine’s Day, we spotted Rebecca Gayheart — who’s due any minute with her first child — in a simple, yet chic maxi dress.

After a bit of sleuthing, we were able to track it down. It’s the Fox sleeveless dress from the Chiarakruza capsule collection for Target, which launched last week.

We love the taupe-y color because it works with every skin tone. Plus, it sports easy-to-access side pockets and removable straps.

The best part? It’s only $35. Talk about a steal!
